How to read this report

Your score is not a prediction that you will lose your job. It measures the share of your working time that goes to tasks current AI systems can already perform, built from the tasks you told us you do and how much time each one takes. Every number here is reproducible: Appendix A gives you the formula and Appendix D reruns it on your own inputs.

IF YOU READ NOTHING ELSE

Four things, one page

Everything after this page is evidence for these four lines.

YOUR AI JOB RISK SCORE

50/100

MODERATE

1. Two tasks are carrying your number

Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase…, and inspect layouts and advertising copy produce 85.7% of your total exposure. Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase… alone produces 57.1% of it. Your risk is concentrated, which means it is addressable.

2. One task is your ground to stand on

Confer with department heads or staff to discuss topics carries no exposure at all and takes about a sixth of your rated week. It is one of 3 minimal-exposure tasks in your rated set, and it is currently the least visible thing in how your role is described.

3. Your score moves through time, not through effort

More time on plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase… and less on together take you from 50 to 32, out of moderate and into limited. No course produces that change. A change in how two blocks of your week are spent does.

4. The first thing to do takes about two hours to set up

Move the drafting hours into review hours. One full deliverable went out where you edited rather than drafted. Time required: about two hours to set up.

What this page is not. Fifty does not mean 50 percent of your job will be automated. Capability is not adoption, and whether your employer acts on it is a separate question this score cannot answer.

What the score means

Fifty percent of your rated working time is spent on tasks that current AI systems can perform, either on their own or with commonly available software. That is a measurement of task overlap. It is not a measurement of your value, your performance, or your employer's intentions.

What the score does not mean

WHY YOUR SCORE DIFFERS FROM OTHERS WITH YOUR JOB TITLE

Most tools score a job title. This score is built at the task level and weighted by how much of your time each task takes. Another Advertising and Promotions Manager who splits the same task list differently would land on a different number, possibly in a different band. The title is the same. The time is not. That difference is the entire point of this measurement.

AI JOB RISK REPORT · AJR-SAMPLE-0001Phronesis Labs LLC · aijobriskcheck.com · Page 4 of 15

SECTION 02

How your score is composed

Your single number breaks into three exposure tiers, and then into a much smaller number of tasks than you would expect.

Time distribution by exposure tier

Full exposure. AI can already do this on its own.
85.7%
Partial exposure. AI can do this with the right tools or software.
14.3%
Minimal exposure. AI cannot meaningfully do this.
0%

Shares of your total rated time weight, 28 points across 6 rated tasks. Tiers correspond to exposure values of 1.0, 0.5, and 0.0.

Where the exposure actually sits

The same 14.0 exposure points from Section 04, ranked, with a running total. This is the table that tells you how many things you would have to change.

TASKPOINTSSHARE OF YOUR EXPOSURERUNNING TOTAL
Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase…8.057.1%57.1%
Inspect layouts and advertising copy4.028.6%85.7%
Coordinate activities of departments2.014.3%100%
Total14.0100%

WHY CONCENTRATION MATTERS

Two tasks produce 85.7% of your number and one produces 57.1% of it. A concentrated score is easier to act on than a diffuse one, because a change in how 2 blocks of time are spent moves your score more than a general effort to learn AI. Section 06 shows exactly how much, using the same formula with the inputs changed.

YOUR PROFILE IN ONE SENTENCE

You are a campaign-side manager whose week concentrates in producing and reviewing promotional material, with the coordination and representation work carrying the accountable relationships.

SECTION 03

Where you sit against other roles

Your score compared to your own occupation and to every occupation in our published index.

You
50
Advertising and Promotions Managers, occupation average
52
All published occupations, median
36

STATED PRECISELY

Your score is higher than the average score of 62 percent of the 923 occupations in our published index. That is a comparison between your time-weighted score and unweighted occupation averages. It is not a claim that you are more exposed than 62 percent of workers, which is a figure nobody can produce, because no one has time-weighted task data for the whole workforce.

How these comparison figures are built

The occupation average is the unweighted mean exposure across all tasks in your matched occupation, which is the figure we publish on the public occupation page for Advertising and Promotions Managers. The index median is the median of those same occupation-level figures across all 923 published occupations.

Your score sits 2 points below your own occupation average. That gap is driven by your time weighting, not by your job title. The occupation average assumes an even spread across every task in the occupation. You do not have an even spread, and neither does anyone else.

What we do not publish. We do not give you an industry average figure, because no defensible source produces one at the task level. A number we cannot construct is a number we will not print.

Reading the table

Weight is the numeric value of your time rating: None 0, A little 1, Some 2, A lot 4, Nearly all my time 8. Beta is the published exposure value for that task. Contribution is beta multiplied by weight. Your score is total contribution divided by total weight, times 100.

14.0 ÷ 28 × 100 = 50.0 → 50

THE HEADLINE FROM THIS TABLE

Two tasks are carrying your score. plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase…, and inspect layouts and advertising copy contribute 12.0 of your 14.0 total exposure points. Everything else you rated contributes 2.0 combined.

SECTION 04, CONTINUED

The completeness check

Your occupation has 20 catalogued tasks. You rated 6. Here are 4 of the other 14, so you can see what your own recall left out.

Plus 10 more catalogued tasks not shown here, each carrying a published exposure value. Nothing is hidden by the cut: none of them enters your score either.

These tasks carry a published exposure value but no measured time weight, so they contribute nothing to the arithmetic in Section 04 and nothing to your score of 50.

Why this page exists

If you had described your job from memory instead of rating a catalogued list, these are the 14 tasks that could have gone missing, and people do not omit at random. 3 of them carry partial or full exposure. 1 carries none, and those are the direction Section 05 points you in.

What one of them would do to your number

Same formula, one row added at a time weight of 4, so you can see the size of the effect rather than take our word for it.

WHAT TO DO WITH THIS PAGE

If any task above takes a real share of your week, your rated set is missing it and your score would change if it were included. Rerunning the assessment with a fuller set takes about a minute and produces a number you can defend to yourself.

SECTION 05

Your defensible tasks

The work you already do that current AI cannot meaningfully perform. This is your ground to stand on.

TASKWEIGHTSHARE OF YOUR TIME
Confer with department heads or staff to discuss topics such as contracts, selection of advertising media, or products to be advertised.621.4%
Direct, motivate, and monitor the mobilization of a campaign team to advance campaign goals.414.3%
Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote products.27.1%
Total defensible time1242.9%

What this work involves

It requires negotiating with named counterparties who expect a person to be accountable for the outcome.

It requires motivating specific people through direct relationships built over time.

It requires being physically present as the accountable face of the organization.

Language you can use

Your defensible work is currently invisible in how most people describe this role. These phrasings describe what you actually do, drawn from your own rated tasks rather than from a template.

"Reviewed and edited promotional material.""Set the review standard the team's drafting tools are measured against, and made the final call on every release."
"Coordinated cross-department activities.""Ran the weekly tradeoff meeting where sales, media, and finance commitments got settled."

SECTION 06

Sensitivity: what would move your score

Four modeled changes to how you spend your time, and the score each one produces. Same formula, changed inputs.

IF THIS CHANGEDNEW SCORECHANGENEW BAND
Confer with department heads or staff to discuss topics grows from "A lot" to "Nearly all my time"41−9Moderate
Plan and prepare advertising and promotional material to increase… drops from "Nearly all my time" to "Some"39−11Limited
Both of the above happen together32−18Limited
Inspect layouts and advertising copy drops from "A lot" to "A little"48−2Moderate

What this tells you

The largest single change moves you 11 points. Both together move you 18 points, to 32, inside limited. Cutting inspect layouts and advertising copy alone moves you 2 points and leaves you where you started. This is the difference between adjusting your work and redesigning it, and it is worth knowing which one your situation calls for before you spend six months on a course.

What this analysis cannot do. It models your score under different time allocations. It does not tell you whether your employer will let you make those changes, or whether the work you shed simply disappears rather than moving to someone else.

CHECK OUR WORK

Row three, both changes together: exposure points fall to 8.0, total weight moves to 24, and 8.0 ÷ 24 × 100 = 33.3, which rounds to 32. Every row on this page is the Appendix A formula with one input changed. If you get a different number than we did anywhere in this report, we would want to know.

SECTION 07

Your trajectory

Where your exposure profile is heading, based on published projections of AI capability growth.

TRAJECTORY: RISING

Your partial-exposure tasks are the ones most likely to move to full exposure as capability grows. You currently hold 14.3% of your rated time in that tier, all of it in one task: coordinate activities of departments. If that task shifts tiers, your composition changes materially without any change in how you spend your week.

Why we do not give you a three-year number

We run the formula a second time using projected exposure values, and we use the result internally to set the trajectory reading above. We do not print that number, because it would look like a forecast of your job three years out and it is not. The underlying projection describes how fast AI capability is improving on measurable tasks. It says nothing about hiring, budgets, or your employer. We would rather give you a directional reading we can defend than a precise number we cannot.

What comes next. Section 07 is the last section of the Pro edition. The final page explains what the Premium edition adds and what it costs.

YOUR REPORT ENDS HERE

What you have, and what is missing

This edition answered where you stand and what you can do where you are. It did not answer the other question.

You now have your number, the 6 tasks behind it, the 14 you did not rate, the work AI cannot do, and four modeled changes that would move your score. That is the measurement, and it is yours to keep.

What it does not contain is the part about leaving. If your read of this report is that the job itself is the problem rather than how your week is arranged, the measurement alone will not tell you where to go.

NEXT STEP

You know your number. Now see where it can go.

Your report covers the job you have. Know Your Next Move covers the jobs your experience already reaches: four of them, scored on the same 0 to 100 scale you were, with what it takes to get to each one.

$20to add it to this report. You paid $29. Premium is $49.

14-day money-back guarantee. No questions asked.

If you do nothing else. The first step of the plan is in the Premium edition, but the version of it you can do today is one line long: one full deliverable went out where you edited rather than drafted. About two hours to set up. It is the only part of this report that gets harder the longer you wait.

APPENDIX D

Your score, worked

The arithmetic from Section 04, carried through end to end.

Σ(β × w) = 14.0 · Σ(w) = 28
14.0 ÷ 28 = 0.5000 · × 100 = 50.0 · rounded = 50

Only the 6 tasks you rated for time enter this calculation. The tasks in the completeness check carry published exposure values but no measured time weight, so they are excluded.

APPENDIX E

The time weighting is ours

The exposure values come from published research. The time weighting does not. Weighting task exposure by how much of your time each task takes is our own contribution and is not part of the source research, which treats all of an occupation's tasks equally. This is why two people with the same job title receive different scores here and identical scores almost everywhere else.

It is also why this document shows you the arithmetic. A method that is ours rather than borrowed has to be checkable, or it is just an assertion with a number attached.
