What's coming
Exposure remains minimal today and is likely to stay that way. The core of the role is operating equipment, monitoring color and temperature changes in real time, and physically loading and unloading materials. AI may streamline some scheduling or reference lookups, but the hands-on, environment-sensitive nature of heat treating keeps automation at bay for the foreseeable future.
